Neural’s active service monitoring system (ASM) keeps a close eye on your applications and equipment, ensuring that the system is available and running at peak performance at all times. In the event of an application or equipment failure, ASM will notify the appropriate persons, including Neural’s technical staff to ensure the problem can be resolved as quickly as possible, to minimise or prevent impact to production systems.
Check and monitoring almost anything
Active Service Monitoring goes well beyond the scope of standard ping-based monitoring. It is capable of checking that individual services are available on individual IP addresses or domains. From web services, e-mail, Exchange, even proprietary systems, active service monitoring can be adapted to suite any monitoring need. Both Neural-hosted services and external systems can be monitored.
Notifications out more
ASM provides many flexible notification options, including SMS and e-mail. Alerts can be sent to one person, or 100, with time and escalation rules also supported. Alert notifications can be sent via any one or more of the following methods:
- SMS / Text Message
- Automated phone call
- Automatic Neural support escalation
